Contraception and Family Planning Services at RHU
Family Planning services are designed for individuals and couples of reproductive age who wish to make informed decisions about the number, spacing, and timing of their children. At Reproductive Health Uganda, we believe everyone—regardless of marital status—has the right to access accurate information, counselling, and a full range of contraceptive options.
Through integrated, high-quality facility-based and community-level services, RHU provides modern family planning methods, including Long-Acting and Permanent Methods (LAPM), alongside counselling, referral, and follow-up care. Clients can expect confidential, respectful, and client-centred services delivered by trained health professionals and health extension workers. Our approach strengthens access, ensures commodity security, promotes quality of care, and supports healthier families while contributing to the reduction of maternal, infant, and child mortality.
