About the Project:

The project is designed to strengthen the responsiveness and accountability of local government officials to citizens and ultimately to improve the quality of local public services like education and health care. Project started on 1st January  2019 in Kampala due to the resource mobilization available.

Core Objectives

The project focuses on two primary pillars to enhance community well-being:

  • Responsiveness & Accountability: Bridging the gap between citizens and local government officials. It encourages officials to listen to community needs and ensures there are mechanisms for citizens to hold leadership accountable for their performance.
  • Service Quality Enhancement: The ultimate goal is to see tangible improvements in essential public sectors, specifically Education and Health Care.
