Role Overview
Registered technician supporting sterile preparation under pharmacist supervision in a USP <797>/<800> cleanroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare CSPs using proper aseptic technique under pharmacist supervision
- Perform garbing, hand hygiene, and cleanroom cleaning per SOP
- Assist with environmental monitoring and supply management
- Maintain accurate compounding logs and records
- Follow hazardous drug handling procedures
Requirements
- Active Virginia pharmacy technician registration required
- Minimum 1+ year of sterile compounding experience required
- Demonstrated aseptic technique proficiency
- PTCB certification preferred
Preferred
- USP <797>/<800> training
- Prior cleanroom experience
