Catchfords was created by men who lived through that vulnerability firsthand. After adult circumcision, we discovered what no forum, doctor, or brand had prepared us for: the extreme sensitivity, the friction, the anxiety of returning to work when even soft cotton felt like sandpaper. When no product existed to help, we made one — and that solution became the foundation of Catchfords.

” There is a gap between surgery and daily life. A gap where you are not unwell, but you are not functional either. “
I created Catchfords because I found myself stuck at home one week after my procedure clear-headed and ready to return to my routine, but unable to walk, move, or tolerate contact while wearing clothing.
I tried everything available. Nothing made those days easier, more private, or more manageable. So I made something that did.
Drawing on my background as a Medical Technologist, and leaning on real multidisciplinary medical perspectives, I specified dimensions, structure, and textile selection to address hypersensitivity, eliminate friction, while reducing excessive bulk.
I built this to fill that gap. To give people a way to move, dress, and live with confidence and dignity during recovery, while retaining their privacy.
