The Reproductive Health Nurse supports the delivery of high-quality reproductive, maternal, and sexual health services within FPOP clinics and community settings. You will provide compassionate care, accurate counseling, and essential health education while ensuring clients feel respected, informed, and empowered in their health decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide reproductive, maternal, and sexual health services in accordance with clinical standards
- Conduct client assessments, counseling, and health education on reproductive health topics
- Assist in the delivery of family planning, STI prevention, and maternal care services
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and reports
- Support mobile outreach clinics and community-based health programs
- Ensure safe, ethical, and client-centered care at all times
- Work closely with doctors, midwives, and community teams to support service delivery
- Contribute to health awareness initiatives and community engagement activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensed Nurse with a degree in Nursing or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in reproductive or maternal health services (preferred)
- Strong understanding of family planning, sexual health, and preventive care
- Ability to communicate clearly and provide sensitive counseling
- Comfortable working in clinical and community outreach environments
- Strong reporting, documentation, and basic digital skills
- Commitment to client safety, dignity, and confidentiality
