The Youth Education Specialist is responsible for designing and delivering youth-centered learning sessions, life-skills programs, and awareness activities. You will engage young people, facilitate safe conversations, and support their growth through relevant, age-appropriate educational content.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct youth-focused sessions on life skills, health, leadership, and personal development
- Engage students, youth groups, and community clubs through creative and interactive learning methods
- Facilitate discussions on sensitive topics with professionalism, respect, and cultural sensitivity
- Assist in developing training materials, modules, and activity plans
- Coordinate youth outreach events, school programs, and community initiatives
- Maintain accurate reports, attendance records, and session feedback
- Identify challenges faced by youth and recommend appropriate support or referrals
- Collaborate with program teams, teachers, and local partners to ensure effective implementation
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Psychology, Public Health, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience working with youth in educational or community settings
- Strong communication, facilitation, and group-management skills
- Ability to discuss youth issues with empathy, clarity, and cultural sensitivity
- Creative approach to designing engaging and interactive learning sessions
- Comfortable conducting outreach and field-based activities
- Strong documentation and basic digital skills (MS Office/Google Workspace)
